Nurture Your Self-Care

Live Online Yoga Course

every Saturday from August 29th through October 17th

Time to be determined.

Open to all levels

“Self-Care isn’t just important, it is crucial”

The coronavirus pandemic has certainly caused widespread stress and trauma - grieving the loss of our “normal” life, fear from infection, frustration from isolation compounded by worrying about our families, relationships, finances and future. While we’re all experiencing this differently, there’s one thing we all share. We are all being challenged emotionally and psychologically. Every challenge contains within it the seeds of opportunity and growth. The shattering of our lives provides the opportunity to awaken, to start life anew, or perhaps to have the ability to re-define ourselves - realign our values, priorities and behaviors – and lead healthier lifestyles. Self-Care and Yoga have never been as crucial as they are today. Embarking on this virtual and inner journey will help you stay positive and physically, mentally, and emotionally strong so you can take care of yourself and your loved ones at home.

This 8-week live online course is designed to give you the necessary tools to reduce the possibility of stress and anxiety, release tension from the body, reconnect with yourself, and practice self-care and self-love for a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. In this series you will learn how to apply the practices of Hatha Yoga, Yin/ Restorative Yoga, including breathing techniques, myofascial release, relaxation practices, meditation and mindfulness. The course will also include recommendations on yogic lifestyle and diet and other self care practices to help you take better care of yourself. This course is open for anyone who is looking into alternative techniques to support their own physical and mental wellbeing.

"I attended Dana’s online course and I can say that it is like no class you’d find online.

Her approach is holistic, bringing forth an array of practices and styles. In her sessions, Dana takes the time to transmit her knowledge, making it easier to embody the practice. In addition to a unique and well-put together sequence, she offers insights on anatomy, relates the practice on the mat to real life challenges and shares a variety of eastern traditional wisdom. Her classes personally encouraged me to listen to my needs, making me adopt a more improvised and intuitive practice. Thank you Dana! "

"Finding a physical and spiritual routine during lockdown was the challenge I gave myself, as discipline in this area is a strong weakness of mine.

I was able to find that with Dana because her classes offer the necessary guidance and narrative  that help drive a beginner such as myself, without the guilt and hype often seen on YouTube videos.Make no mistake, her online classes do not equal following an online video. Her presence is real and inclusive."

"Dana’s online yoga course helped me to better deal with being on lockdown during this pandemic.

It was amazing having something to look forward to, knowing that you will have a super high quality class even though it’s virtual. Dana managed very well to create a relaxing space with clear instructions for the poses and followed up with participants to see if they needed help.

She explains everything about each pose, the background and philosophy of yoga while encouraging us when needed.Thank you so much Dana you’re my favorite yoga instructor out there!"

"Dana is beyond a yoga teacher, she is a helping hand and a kind heart, willing to listen, like really listen then help and guide. Her self care booklet is very helpful and you can feel through her instructions during the yoga sessions that she really cares, she wants us to succeed and not need her for more instructions but follow our own path and express ourselves freely on the mat and off it. I was so lucky that I started practicing with her as COVID-19 pandemic put me under lockdown and continue to feel lucky for any future adventures we might embark on together."

"Thanks Dana for this valuable course. It helped me to reconnect with my body and allowed me to have some time to take care of myself, contemplate and relax. I even learned how to do massage on my own and it was really helpful for my back pain. I recommend this class to anyone who is willing to practice yoga at his/her convenience."

"Really loved the course. Also really appreciated the self care guide and that you introduced so many different practices, especially Women’s Yoga and the Myofascial Release practice using the tennis balls to release tension from the body. It was the most varied Yoga course I have taken thus far."

"I am convinced that yoga is the right spiritual and exercise practice for everyone- you just have to fall on the right teacher! Dana is that teacher for me, as she knows how to hold space for someone and can help you identify the right type of yoga practice for you. I can proudly (and with a lot of relief) say that I fell in love with yoga! This is crucial, as i know this practice is healing, empowering and centering, like no other."
